Editorial policy
Primary sources only
Every requirement is traced to the rule that creates it: the state's administrative code or medical-board page, or the ABPN's own Continuing Certification booklet and FAQ. We cite those sources on the page. We do not source requirements from other CME vendors' summaries.
Dated and reviewed
Each page shows a "last reviewed" date and the name of the physician who reviewed it. State pages are re-checked at least annually and whenever a board announces a rule change; ABPN pages are re-checked against each new CC booklet release. The sitemap and structured data carry the same date as the page.
Written for psychiatrists
State boards write rules for all physicians. We add the part that boards leave out: how the state hours overlap with the ABPN 90-credit, 16 SA-CME block, which mandated topics also satisfy an ABPN component, and which requirement sets your pace.
Commercial relationship
The site is operated by Psychopharmacology Institute, a CME provider. Links to its courses are disclosed as such. Requirements content is not adjusted to favor any provider; the ABPN and the state board are always linked as the authority.
Corrections
Send the board source to fguzman@psychcampus.com. Confirmed corrections are published with an updated review date.
